About Us

Emily met Brendan at work shortly after moving to Pittsburgh in August 2017. The first thing she noticed about him was his shoes. They realized there was a connection when they both made the same joke at the same time and then discovered they had similar tastes in books and music. Soon after they went to a basement show in Oakland together. Brendan and Emily's first date was going to a halloween dance party at Spirit; a date they repeated for their first anniversary. As time has gone on the couple have shared many trips and new experiences together. In December 2019 Brendan proposed and last year they bought a house together in Cleveland. Brendan and Emily are looking forward to spending this next phase of their life together.
